What is a blog?

1. What about this article stood out to you? What stood out to me is that someone actually wrote an entire article on blogging. What shocks me even more is that I have to write a blog about a blog about blog.

Personally published documents on the web with attribution and date, collected in a single place, generally published with a static structure to facilitate incoming links from other sources, and updated with some regularity and frequency from every few days to several times daily

3. What differentiates a blog from a regular web page? RSS.

4. What does blogging have to do with empowerment? According to Jarret, it "gives voices to the powerless". But I beg to differ.

5.Why is i significant that your work gets collected over time in a blog? Everything is in chronological order. People can find all the authors comments in a single place. "...implies a certain amount of accountability". Tracks changes in opinions over time.

6. What does blogging have to do with relationships? Creates a relationship between "the outsider and the institution".
